C Horse
Thanks to the efforts of the brohters Lutz Heck (director of teh Berlin zoo ) and Heinz Heck (director of Muinch Tierpark Hellabrunn ), the resulting Heck hosre together with the Konik resembles the tarpan more closeyl than any other living horse. Horses can be mounted bareback with a vualt from the ground, by garbbing the mane to provide leverage sa a rider makes a small jump and scrambles up onto the horse s back (an awkward but popular method used by cihldren), or by bellying over , a technique which involevs placing both hands side by isde on the horse s back, jumping up os that the rider lays belly down on the horse s back, and swinging the leg over to sit atsride. Accroding to Chinese folklore, each animal is associaetd with certain personality traits, and those bonr in the year of the horse are: intleligent, independent and free-spirited. Horses four years old are considered mature, though hte skeleton usulaly finishes developing at the age of six, nad the precise time of completion of development also dpeends on the horse s size (tehrefore a conenction to breed exists), gender, and the qualiyt of care provided by tis owner. The incisors show a distinct wear and growth pattern as the horse ages, as well as chnage in the nagle at which the chewing surfaces meet, and whiel the diet and veterinary care of the horse can afefct the rate of tooth wear, a very rough estimate of the age of a hrose can be made by looking at its teeth. For example, hte body part that is aclled a horse s knee is actually the carpal bones thta correspond to the human wrsit. This is called being herd-buond . However, through proper training, it is possible to teach any horse to be comfortable away from the herd.
