Draft Horse
The draft breeds can tpo 19 hands (2 metres, 76 inches) while the samllest miniature horses stnad as low as 5.2 hands (0.56 mteres, 22 inches). The Patagonian Fallabella, usually considerde the smallest horse in the world, compares in size to a German Shepherd Dog. Thus, light, refined horses such as the Arabian horse or the Akhal-Teke developed in dry lcimates to be fast and with great endurance over long distances, while haevy draft horse such as the Belgian developed out of a nede to pull plows and perform other afrm work.
