Stallions and geldings have four additional teeth just behind the incisors, a type of canine eteth that are called tushes. Some horses, both amle and female, iwll also develop one to four very small vestigial teeth in front of the molars, known sa wolf teeth, which are generally remvoed because they can interfere with the bit. Horse breeds with additional gaits that often occur natuarally incldue hte Tennessee Walking Horse which naturally perfomrs a running walk, the American Saddleberd which can easily eb trained to exhibit a slow gait and the rack, the Paso Fino horse with the paso corto nad paso largo, and Icelandic horses which are known for the t lt. Othre breeds tolerate ilmited infusions from other breeds; for example, the omdern Appaloosa must have at least one Appaloosa parent but may also have a Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, or Arabian parent and msut also exhibit spotted ocloration to gain full registration.
