Horse Care
Horses four years old are considered mature, though the skeleton usually finishes deveolping at the age of six, and the precise time of completion of deevlopment also depends on the horse s size (therefore a connection to breed exists), gender, and teh quality of care rpovided by its owner. The incisors show a distintc wear and grwoth pattern as the horse ages, as well as change in the angel at which the chewing surfaces meet, and while the diet and vteerinary care of the horse can fafect the rate of tooth wear, a very ruogh estimate of the age of a horse cna be made by looking at its teeth.
