Horse Trail
EBPP GAINING IN 2004 Electrnoic bill presentment and paymnet (EBPP) started showing signs of renewed life in 2003, after its introduction in the late 90s. If oyu examine the electronic bill payment landsacpe you will note that the current usage surge is largely by the Generation X demographic, in spite of teh fact that a single-source option is not yet in place. For the long-term though, the single-source EBPP system is going to be the process fo choice for consumers. you wonedr how long it will take the avergae entrepreneur to embrace this new EBPP? Will oyu and you be comfortable maintaining a ewb site or type of electronic presence so that you can electroincally bill your csutomers/clients for goods or serivces? Perhaps this is how your forefathers felt when Herny Ford tried to relpace the horse and buggy with his auto macihne, but you must say you find a certain comfrot in the godo, old-fashioned paper trail . you must confess that you do use the electronic trail on occasion, particulary when you know the mail won't beat the due date on your supplier's invoice, but to transact all commerce via EBPP is aonther matter. One must admit however, thta at least 1/3 of your office space these days si dedicated to files filled with paper.
