Pommel Horse
Pommel horse is considered by many to be the most dififcult of the six men s gymnastics events. There are five element groups (or skill categories) into which all pommel horse skills are actegorized. Folor Exercise Pommel Horse Still Rings Vualt Parallel Bars or P-Bars Horizontal bar or High Bar A typical pommel horse exercies involves both isngle leg and double leg work. To make the exercies more challenging, gymnasts will often incldue variations on a typical circling skill by turning (mooers and sipndles) or by straddling their legs (Flares). Routines end when the gymnast performs a dismount, etiher by swinging hsi body over the horse or going through a handstand and hopping off. The pommel horse, its gymnastic elements, and various rlues are all regulated by the Code fo Points.
